Wexford Town

At the mouth of the River Slaney, just twelve miles from Rosslare Europort & 2 hours from Dublin.

Bunclody

The town of Bunclody is located just seven miles from Enniscorthy, nestled in the foothills of Mount Leinster the highest peak of the Blackstairs Mountains. From the top of Mount Leinster there are superb views of Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford, weather permitting it is a favourite spot with hang-gliding enthusiasts. Bunclody is a beautiful market town, set in a quiet location away from the busier bigger towns, it none the less offers a fantastic base for your Wexford holiday, it is quieter than the busier bigger towns yet close enough to experience all that Wexford has to offer and with fantastic accommodation and leisure facilities available – what more can you ask for.

Gorey

Gorey is just 1 hour from Dublin City Centre.

To the North of the County lies Gorey Town. Once a small market town it has become a popular commute with many Dublin people who have now settled in the area, Gorey is just one hour from the City Centre. Probably its most famous resort is Courtown Harbour but there are also the beach resorts of Ballymoney, Morriscastle and Cahore as well as excellent accommodation, shopping and heritage sites. All well worth considering when choosing your holiday.

Enniscorthy & The Slaney Valley

Built on the River Slaney, 15 miles from Wexford Town,

Enniscorthy has many famous heritage sites. Saint Aidan’s Cathedral is also located in the Town Centre and Vinegar Hill the famous 1798 commemoration site is situated nearby, but Enniscorthy has much more to offer, good shopping and dining out with excellent accommodation. Make sure you include Enniscorthy in your holiday plans.

The Town of Bunclody is located just seven miles from Enniscorthy, nestled in the foothills of Mount Leinster, the highest peak of the Blackstairs Mountains, from the top of Mount Leinster you can view the counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford and the view is superb.

Bunclody is a beautiful market town, set in a lovely location away from the busier bigger towns, it offers a more relaxing break, yet it is close enough to visit all areas in the County. There are superb accommodation and leisure facilities.

New Ross and the Hook Penninsula

The Town of New Ross lies in the Estuary of the River Barrow.

On the Quayfront you can visit the Dunbrody Famine Shop, a replica of one that brought many of our forefathers to the United States of America, including the greatgrandparents of President John F Kennedy. The Kennedy Centre and Arboretum just a few miles from the centre of New Ross are well worth a visit, you can picnic in the gardens or just stroll around many acres of parkland.

New Ross is an ideal base for taking in a drive around the scenic Ring of Hook which features many historical sites including Dunbrody Abbey, Tintern Abbey and The Hook Lighthouse. The famous and reputedly haunted Loftus Hall is also located nearby.

There are many fine beaches and restaurants in this area – seafood is a speciality.

Rosslare to Carnsore

The beach resorts of Rosslare Strand, Carne,and Kilmore Quay, are superb locations for your relaxing break.

All are within 13km of the international Ferryport of Rosslare Harbour and 19km of Wexford Town.
